If you are concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a child, you can submit information to ChildWatch SA for review.

While we cannot replace the role of statutory child protection authorities, we may be able to identify procedural concerns, provide guidance, or advocate for greater accountability where appropriate.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact Childline (116), your local emergency services, or the nearest designated child protection organisation immediately. Do not wait for a response from ChildWatch SA.

Before You Submit a Report

Please read the following before completing the form.

ChildWatch SA is:

An advocacy and accountability organisation.
Focused on promoting transparency and improving child protection systems.
Able to review supporting documentation and identify procedural concerns.

ChildWatch SA is not:

A law enforcement agency.
A statutory child protection organisation.
A substitute for SAPS, the Department of Social Development or designated child protection organisations.

Submitting a report does not create an attorney-client, therapist-client or statutory investigator relationship.
